You Can Overcome Anything

…and Jason McElwain is proof.

Do you feel like you are constantly hitting a brick wall? Do you feel like every day is just a chore to get through? Do you have a never-ending list of problems that just won’t seem to go away?

Well, I have good news for you.

First, your problems aren’t as bad as you think they are…it could be worse.

Second, no matter what obstacles are in your way, you can overcome them.

This is the story of Jason McElwain, which I was reminded of earlier today when going through my Inbox.

Jason loves basketball. He has a passion for the game. He’s dedicated. He never misses a practice or a game. He’s a motivator, and he works harder than anyone else. But, Jason doesn’t play…or hadn’t up until this point.

You see, Jason has autism. He’s a special education student – I emphasize the word SPECIAL – and the manager for the Greece Athena High School in Rochester, NY.

Here’s the scene. It’s the last game of the season, and Jason’s senior year. I’ll let the video tell the rest of the story…

Now, go out and slay yourself a dragon!
